The extent and type of collection and use of your data differ depending on whether you only visit our website to retrieve information or make use of services offered by us:

a) Internet use

For the simple informational use of our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide any personal data.

Rather, in this case, we only collect and use those of your data that your Internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

  • Your browser type
  • the browser settings
  • the operating system in use
  • the last page you visited
  • the transferred data volume and the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Your IP address.
  • Date and time of access to one of our Internet pages

During an informational visit, we collect and use this data exclusively in non-personal forms.
This is only done in order to actually enable the use of the Internet pages you have accessed, for statistical purposes and to improve our Internet offering. We only store the IP address for the duration of your visit, while a personal evaluation does not take place. These data are not combined with other data sources and are moreover deleted right after a statistical evaluation. According to the decision of the European Court of Justice of 19 October 2016 (Ref.: C 582/14), this is also permissible in view of the Telemedia Act.

b) Use of offers and/or data usage for the completion of tasks

If you wish to make use of services offered by us, it may be necessary for you to provide us with further data. This is the data which is required for the respective processing. Further information, marked by us as optional, can be provided voluntarily.

Your data is collected or used only for the purpose of providing the service you require.
If necessary, your data will be passed on to service providers supporting us for the above-mentioned purpose. In particular, these can be technical service providers or shipping service providers. For your safety, we have carefully selected such service providers and obliged them to comply with data protection law.

In any other case, your data will only be passed on to other third parties if this is permitted by law or if we have received your explicit consent.

4 Data protection consent

Beyond the processing of your requested services, we would like to offer - of course only if you explicitly consent to this - an Internet presence tailored to your interests. This includes also sending you interesting news and information about us by post or e-mail (in the form of our newsletter), based on your data. Therefore, we want to make use of your data for the necessary evaluation and for market research purposes. For this purpose, it is technically necessary that we summarize your data in user profiles and evaluate them for the aforementioned purposes.  We ensure that this is only done internally and only for the aforementioned purposes.
We may also require your consent for the publication of image material that is subject to your copyright or on which you are depicted. You can give your consent separately. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to subsequently revoke this at any time with effect for the future.
Consent with regard to cookies or advertising tracker is governed by § 6 of this declaration below.

Regarding cookies or advertising trackers the consent is governed by § 6 of this declaration below.

5. Newsletter

(Currently, this service is NOT used, however in case of such a use, the following will provide you with the necessary information)

In order to subscribe to our e-mail newsletter service, we require at least your e-mail address to which the newsletter shall be sent to, as well as your data protection consent. Any further information is voluntary and will only be used to address you personally and to personalise the content of the newsletter. In addition, this data is necessary to clarify any queries regarding your e-mail address.

We generally use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter, i.e. we will only send you the newsletter if you confirm your registration in advance. This will happen via a link, sent to you in a confirmation e-mail. We do so to ensure that only you, as the owner of the provided e-mail address, can subscribe to the newsletter provided. Your confirmation must be sent shortly after receiving the confirmation e-mail, otherwise, your newsletter subscription will be automatically deleted from our database.

You can cancel a newsletter you have subscribed to at any time. To do so, you can either send us an informal e-mail to infoif20@klisch-partnerif20.de, use the link at the end of the newsletter or do a cancellation via phone under +49 2408 9378032.

6. Use of cookies

For our internet presence, we use the technology of cookies. Cookies are small text files that are sent to your browser by our web server during your visit on our website. These are then stored on your computer for later retrieval. We also use so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visits on our website. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including the IP address of users) and delivery of advertising may also be transmitted to and stored by Google LLC servers in the European Union and the United States. (cf. No. 8). The transmitted data cannot be merged with other data stored by you.
Whether cookies can be set and retrieved can be determined by you, through the settings in your browser. For example, you can completely deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser or limit it to certain websites. Furthermore, you can configure your browser in such a way that it automatically informs you as soon as a cookie is to be set and asking for your feedback. For technical reasons, however, it is necessary to accept the mentioned session cookies, to ensure the full functional range of our Internet presence.

As of the entry into force of the basic data protection regulation on 25 May 2018, we will obtain your explicit consent for the use of cookies prior to their use.

7. Right of revocation and objection

We would like to point out that you can revoke any data protection consent given to us at any time with effect for the future. As far as legal requirements exist for the collection of data (e.g. list of architects), there is no right of revocation.

Google Analytics
(Currently, this service is NOT used, however in case of such a use, the following will provide you with the necessary information)

It is important for us to design our Internet pages as optimally as possible and thus to make them attractive for our visitors. To do this, we need to know which parts of the websites reach our visitors and how.

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us as website operator with other services relating to website usage and internet usage.
The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie, related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and prevent Google from processing this data. This can be done by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

9 Data security

We also use technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data that is collected, in particular against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against the attack of unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

10. Deletion periods

We store personal data only until the purpose of the data storage ceases to apply. This holds as long as there are no legal retention periods or limitation periods for data that may be useful for legal proceedings to prevent deletion (in this case the processing of the data is restricted in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO).

The draft is based on preliminary work by esb Rechtsanwälte, a law firm specialised in data protection.
